A limited upcycle lighting series constructed from a limited lot of typically french antique Opaline lampglass. Opaline is a decorative style of glass made in France from 1800 to the 1890s, though it reached its peak of popularity during the reign of Napoleon III in the 1850s and 1860s. Opaline glass remaines a rare find, untill we uncovered the lot in 2011 along the roads of Reims, France. We transformed the antique glass to the era of NOW in a limited series.

Combined with the deconstructed inner structure of classic but outdated, common lampshades, this beautifully finished and reborn lighting series is cherished with the attention to detail and increased ergonomics!
