A limited upcycle lighting series constructed from a lot of typically wall mounted lighting fixtures dating from the 1960's untill the 1980's usually found in hallways. Wall-flowers refers in the earliest sense to an 1820 poem entitled County Ball by Winthrop Mackworth Praed. It was originally used to refer to shy women, and only in the context of dances; more recently the term has been expanded to include men and other social gatherings.
In a modern setting the wall mounted fixtures are utterly outdated and mostly disgarded. Combined with the deconstructed inner structure of classic but outdated, common lampshades, this beautifully finished and reborn lighting series is cherished with the attention to detail and increased ergonomics and as such, transformed to the era of NOW.

The maiden wall-flowers of the room
Admire the freshness of his bloom,
Hint that his face has made him vain,
And vow "he grows a boy again;"
and giddy girls of gay fifteen
Mimic his manner and his mien,
And when the supple Politician
Bestows his bow of recognition,
Or forces on th'averted ear
The flattery it affects to fear;
They look, and laugh behind the fan,
And dub sir Paul "the young old man."...
